The Santa Fe Paintbox ULTRA Paintbox is a large solid brass handmade palette for watercolor or gouache artists.

  The ULTRA Paintbox has many useful features, such as an internal  snap closure, a denim storage bag, four removable stainless steel paint pan trays with 32 full or 56 half pans, four separate mixing wells on the side flaps and a removable 3-well mixing tray.  The pans are standard size and can be filled with your choice of paints or replaced with commercially available pre-filled pans.  A brush well is also standard on this palette.

The ULTRA Paintbox is handcrafted from 0.5 mm (0.5mm) brass, with solid brass hinges. The interior is primed and finished with durable white polymer.  With time and use, the brass finish will develop a warm bronze patina.  If you wish to maintain the bright finish, you may do so with a soft cloth and mild metal polish.

When closed the ULTRA Paintbox  measures 9.8"  x 6.8" x 1"  (249 x 173 x 25 mm), and weighs 34 ounces (960 grams).  When opened fully, it measures 13.5" x 16.75" x .5"   (343 x 425mm).
